Adding a project

A project is the top level design target in Compas, it will generally be a specific structure or component.

Anew project requires a name, the first project must be added by clicking on Add Project in the Projects menu, subsequent projects can be entered the same way or by right clicking on a previously added project node in the left hand pane of the projects tab, a context menu will appear with an Add Project entry.

A dialog will appear to allow you to enter a name fo the new project :-

Enter the name for the project, click on OK and the project will appear in the left hand projects pane.
